Liam Gallagher performs Oasis song ‘Wonderwall’ at Olympics closing ceremony

Liam Gallagher sings Wonderwall at the Olympics closing ceremony

The moment the Olympic Stadium heard the single Wonderwall, the fans were delighted. The Oasis single is a moment capturing song at the Olympics closing ceremony that was soidentifiable with people on Sunday night. Technically that was all that could be identified as Oasis wasn’t on the stage or at least only half of the band Oasis.
Liam Gallagher who is half of the Oasis band performed the hit with his new band Beady Eye, which is why the song sounded slightly different. As most fans know, the relationship between the brothers haven’t been the best, so hearing the song definitely was a treat and unexpected. The 1990’s hit definitely had the fans singing along too, which was a very sweet moment.

The Olympics closing ceremony gave a look into the pop culture of British music. With a cross generation selection of singers, musicians and artist, the fans were introduced to new acts and heard familiar songs. It was a great way to celebrate the sounds of the country. The entire tribute was called “A Symphony of British Music.”
Take a look at Liam Gallagher on stage with Beady Eye performing at the event.
